AGC HOUSTON NEWS
Do You Want To Know How the 2024 Election Results Will Impact the Construction Industry? As we wrap up election week 2024, we want to give a huge shoutout to all our AGC Members for getting out to vote. Voting is a civic duty and responsibility that is critically important to ensure that each of our own personal and professional interests are represented across all levels of government. It is how we as citizens can impact the process. Next week, AGC of America is hosting a webinar to help our members understand the impact that the election results will have on our industry, so we encourage you to please join us on Thursday, November 14th, to learn more about how the changes at the Capitol might affect your business. In this webinar, speakers will provide critical insights into:
While the National elections certainly garner the publicity and draw people out to vote, the importance of the state and local elections cannot be understated either, especially when it comes to our construction industry. Our AGC Houston PAC was very active in supporting Houston area Representatives and Senators from both Republican and Democratic parties, all of whom were successful in getting elected. Mark your calendars for March 4-5, 2025, when AGC Houston will be traveling to Austin to participate in the AGC Texas Building Branch Legislative Day, where we will visit with many of those Representatives and Senators in person and will share with them our construction industry priorities for the upcoming Legislative Session. For more information about AGC’s advocacy efforts at all levels, including how to get plugged in with the AGC Houston Government Affairs Committee, please reach out to Catherine Morgan at catherine.m@agchouston.org Click here to register for the upcoming webinar! __________________________________________________________________________ AGC Houston Hosts 3rd Annual HR & Safety Professionals Day

Her interactive, "edu-tainment" style keynote focused on one core goal: to help individuals manage stress more effectively and understand how chronic stress impacts their professional performance. As always, huge thanks to sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, and members for making the event a huge success! Click here for event photos. Sponsors: Education/Training
