Construction firms added 45,000 jobs in April and 280,000 over 12 months, as the sector's unemployment rate fell to a nine-year April low of 7.5 percent, according to an analysis by AGC of America.

Adam Delk has joined JE Dunn Construction Company as Vice President, responsible for project planning, strategic planning for the business unit and client relations. Delk has managed the planning and construction of many large-scale projects, primarily healthcare related. He graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's of science in construction science and a minor in business. Delk is a member of the Rice Design Alliance, Construction Owners Association of America, and American Society for Healthcare Engineering and has been actively involved with the Christus Foundation for five years.

The $10 million renovation of Francis Hall at Texas A&M University puts the school in a one-of-a-kind position among institutions of higher education in the state.
