House Bill 910 allows a license holder to "open carry" a handgun in a holster beginning on January 1, 2016. Read a helpful article here written by Tony Stergio, Andrews Myers, PC. It is a valuable tool to all industry members, and it is especially helpful in educating owners about possible increases/decreases in costs and potential shortages that may affect their projects . Please take a moment to fill in the form and return it by December 30, 2015. We want to continue to report on these matters.

On consecutive weekends in October, Gilbane Building Company along with hundreds of Houstonians gave time, talent, and hard work to help repair the homes of low-income elderly, veteran, and disabled homeowners.
The Rebuilding Together Houston programs use both crews of volunteers and professional contractors to repair homes for those who are unable to make or afford such repairs. From scraping and painting, caulking, replacing siding, windows, and doors, and constructing wheelchair ramps, volunteers will be sharing their talents to allow our neighbors to safely age-in-place with dignity and comfort.
