CPHR Manitoba's HR Conference 2018: Join the HRevolution is returning on October 23 & 24, 2018, at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg with a networking reception, four keynote speakers and an exciting line-up of 17 breakout sessions, including Beyond the retweet: empowering employees in the digital age, facilitated by Kelly Thibodeau, Owner and Lead Consultant of Squarely Social, and Jill Knaggs, Communications and Membership Champion with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters: Employee advocacy is a powerful strategy for raising brand awareness. Empowering staff as brand ambassadors can pay big dividends – employee networks have greater reach and impact than company platforms and customers trust their opinions. Through case studies of companies that are doing it right – from Starbucks to Kelly Services to Reebok and IBM – along with the pitfalls to watch for – this session will help inform HR practitioners how HR can position itself as a strategic business partner in the branded conversation. Participants will leave with practical tools and sample policies that provide the framework for success.
