EU Newsbrief: EU Visitors Program Calling Young Leaders!

Americans with a career-related interest in the European Union are invited to apply for the 2017 European Union Visitors Program (EUVP). Eligible to participate are government officials (local, state and federal), journalists, academics, representatives of non-profit, non-governmental organizations, and other professionals between the age of 30 to 40. The EUVP, which is jointly sponsored and administered by the European Commission and the European Parliament, provides promising young professionals an opportunity to visit Europe and gain an appreciation of the EU's institutions, policies, values, and people. Participants receive an individual 5-8 day study tour in Brussels (in some cases also Strasbourg) tailored to their specific interests and professional profile.
