The Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers over 500 teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries for the 2017-2018 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others. There are many resources to help you learn more about available opportunities and design a competitive application, including:
• My Fulbright: Register to receive exclusive updates, application tips and information related to specific countries,
world regions and disciplines.
• CIES.org: Visit the website to find the most up-to-date information about the Fulbright Scholar Program
• Catalog of Awards: View 2017-2018 awards, country overviews and benefits information. You many search for
awards for world region, country, discipline or keywords.
• Webinars: Sign up to receive in-depth information on awards within a world region or discipline and have your
questions answered by program staff.
• Workshops: View where staff will be holding campus workshops to learn more about the Fulbright Scholar
Program.
