Gender, Disability and Development Institute 2016

IIE is proud to sponsor Mobility International’s 2016 Gender, Disability and Development Institute. This event brings together senior-level development professionals with disabled women leaders from developing countries to engage in dialogue about strategies for including women with disabilities in development projects throughout the world. With workshops, break-out sessions, and networking activities, participants have the chance to engage with 20 disabled women leaders who represent disabled people's organizations (DPOs), NGOs, or government agencies in their countries, all with a passion for reaching underserved populations.
