The U.S. - Egypt Science and Technology Joint Fund Cycle 18: Request for Applications

The U.S.-Egypt Science and Technology Joint Fund was established under an agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt to strengthen scientific and technological capabilities between both countries. Teams of U.S. and Egyptian researchers may jointly apply for funds to support collaboration on scientific and technical endeavors of mutual interest to promote economic development. Research topics include: Climate change and sustainable crop/livestock production; Emerging livestock diseases; Food processing and safety; New trends in renewable energy; Advances in desalination technology; Improved efficiency for current water/agricultural practices.
