Strategies for Expansion in Higher Education in India

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) with the support of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, will be organizing the 7th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2011, a two day Global Conference on November 11-12 at FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi.
The Summit is an earnest effort toward bringing together key policy-makers, educationists, and the corporate sector at both the national and international level for deliberations, interactions, knowledge sharing, and the identification of policy and practice imperatives.
The Hon’ble Union Minister for HRD, Mr. Kapil Sibal, has confirmed to inaugurate the Summit. Thought Leaders like Dr. Daniel C Levy, Distinguished Professor on Education Policy, University at Albany & Director of PROPHE USA; and Prof. David Naylor, President, University of Toronto, Canada, will be speaking at the conference.
More than 650 delegates from India and abroad, including university presidents and deans from Scotland, Canada, the U.S., Thailand, and Brunei, are expected to attend the Summit. B2B facilitations are organized to facilitate joint collaborations between Indian or foreign institutions. Exhibition at the conference is an additional attraction for participants to showcase their programs and products to the students from the NCR region and the captive delegates. More than 2,000 students visit the Exhibition every year.
