Proposal Deadline: November 1, 2012
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, a Fulbright exchange activity sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE), brings accomplished young and mid-level professionals from designated countries to the United States for a year of non-degree academic study at a designated U.S. university and professional development activities.
IIE is currently inviting proposals from universities interested in conducting an intensive English training program for Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows. Fellows with low levels of English proficiency are required to attend this 20-25 week intensive English training program (referred to as Long-Term English) prior to the start of the program year in August. The proposal deadline is November 1, 2012. Proposals will undergo competitive review, including external peer evaluation.
Universities selected will be eligible to receive a group of Fellows starting in the spring of 2013, renewable over the following four academic years.
