From the IIE Blog: Allan Goodman on Immigration and Student Mobility

IIE President and CEO Allan E. Goodman, while in London for the Qatar Foundation’s WISE Awards, urges England, the United States and other countries considering changes in immigration policy to consider the effects that the policy will have on the flow of students in and out of the countries for educational opportunities.  

"In many countries, changes in immigration rules and procedures need reform and these are driven by situations and events far beyond the education sector.  So we very often do not seek or have a voice in these matters," Goodman writes in IIE's Opening Minds blog.
