More South Koreans Choose China for Education

An article in the
Wall Street Journalnotes that the number of South Koreans enrolled in Chinese universities has more than tripled in the last ten years. While the United States still attracts the highest proportion of Korean foreign college students, companies in Korea are showing greater interest in employees with experience in China, especially those with Chinese language skills. This new trend can be explained by the increasingly interlinked economies of the two countries as well as Korea’s greater confidence in the quality of education in China.
