Request for Proposals for U.S. Host University for International Fulbright Teachers

The Institute of International Education (IIE) announces the request for proposals from U.S. universities to host approximately eighteen international K-12 teachers for the 2014-2015 Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational, and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and administered by IIE, the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program provides opportunities for highly accomplished U.S. and international primary- and secondary-level teachers to take part in an intensive professional development program for three or four months abroad. Participating countries for the 2014-2015 program include Chile, Finland, India, Israel, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, and Singapore. The dates of the program for international teachers will be August to December, 2014.

fulbrightdat@iie.org. Final selection will be made by April 2014. Final approval of host universities will be made in consultation with the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State.
