MOOCs by the Numbers and the Promise of Internationalization

 "Whatever your opinion of them, you can’t deny that MOOCs have come a long way in the last few years," writes Thu-Huong Ha in her post on TED Blog. The post includes very interesting infographic on MOOC users provided by Alex Cusack, a consultant in educational technology.


In another recent article published in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Christina C. Davidson asks the question "What type of internationalized liberal education will the online platform offer?" The article explores this question and proposes many others about diversity and access. "The hope is that [students] will increasingly begin to compare and contrast their experiences with those of people in drastically different contexts," writes Davidson.
