This colloquium will showcase new frontiers and trends in international engineering education through plenaries such as:
- New frontiers in the STEM disciplines: engaging Latin America
- President Obama's 100,000 Strong in the Americas Initiative
- New frontiers in global interdisciplinary programs - linking engineering with the sciences, social sciences and beyond
- New trends in assessment
Highlights:
- Keynotes will center around new frontiers in building global competence for engineers, with speakers from the government, higher education, and industry
- Round Table with institutional leadership on internationalization strategies on campus and in different countries
- Alumni panel showcasing success stories of international engineering alums (and featuring winners of prestigious scholarships: Fulbright, DAAD, and Boren)
