Global Participation Rates to Continue Rising, Says Report

In an article in Times Higher Education, Jack Grove shares highlights of a report by Simon Marginson, professor of international higher education at the UCL Institute of Education. According to the report, "Higher education participation rates across the world are set to soar further despite more than doubling over the past two decades," writes Grove. "The rise of an aspirational middle class in developing countries, particularly China and India, will also further fuel participation rates."
