The Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Advanced Studies provides funding to Japanese students pursuing an advanced degree in economics abroad. Funded by the Government of Japan and administered by the Institute of International Education and the IMF Institute, the scholarship covers expenses for two years of graduate study in macroeconomics or a related subject and includes a summer internship at the IMF. The deadline for the 2012-2014 Japan-IMF Scholarship Program is January 31, 2012.
