"Burma’s Spring": Learn More about a Special Lecture on the Topic

On May 21, 2012, the Institute of International Education (IIE) held a special lecture at its New York headquarters on "Burma’s Spring" by Dr. Myint Oo, alumnus of IIE’s Scholar Rescue Fund (SRF) and the Hubert H. Humphrey (HHH) Fellowship Program. Dr. Oo described himself as having been "born from IIE," noting that it was through IIE’s fellowships that he was first able to travel outside of Burma and to experience the benefits of international exchange on both personal and broader societal levels.
