Many of today’s leading educators and administrators are
building and strengthening ties with their counterparts in Europe and Eurasia.The
Fulbright Scholar Program offers a number of ways to support and expand these
efforts.Americans can use the many All Discipline Awards offered through
the Core Program to work in countries such as, but not limited to, Russia, Armenia, Georgia,
the Slovak
Republic and Slovenia.
Fulbright offers both financial support and the prestige associated with the
U.S. flagship international educational exchange program.Interested
faculty and professionals are encouraged to learn more about core Fulbright
U.S. Scholar opportunities by visiting the online Catalog of Awards or joining the MyFulbright
Community. The application deadline for most awards is August 1, 2014.
Further, there are numerous opportunities to host scholars from abroad through
the Core Program, the Scholar-in-Residence Program and the Outreach
Lecturing Fund. Thinking strategically, thinking globally should include
thinking about Fulbright.
