To address gender equality in science, engineering, and medicine, the New York Stem Cell Foundation’s  Initiative on Women in Science and Engineering (IWISE) brings together leading women and men in these fields. The IWISE Working Group published a paper in Cell Stem Cell that recommends seven actionable strategies for advancing women scientists, engineers, and doctors, and enabling them to excel and truly thrive in their fields. The seven strategies put forward were developed at the inaugural meeting of the IWISE Working Group and focus on actionable initiatives.
