2015 Best Practices Conference Website is Now Live


We are pleased to announce that the Institute of International Education’s 2015 Best Practices Conference website is now live.

IIE’s Best Practices in Internationalizing the Campus Conference, March 19-20, 2015

The IIE Best Practices Conference on March 20 at IIE’s headquarters in New York City featured presentations by university provosts, deans, and government officials who shared their strategies and achievements for internationalizing their respective campuses. The opening Keynote speaker was James B. Milliken, Chancellor of the City University of New York and the afternoon Keynote speaker was Anthony Koliha, Director, Office of Global Educational Programs, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. Winners of the 2015 Andrew Heiskell Awards for Innovation in International Education discussed their programs, all of which contribute to the internationalization of higher education in the United States and abroad.

STRATEGIC EVENT SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT


The Global Executive Doctor of Education is a first-of-its-kind program designed to meet the needs of senior leaders in education by providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the 21st century. The program prepares students to achieve large scale improvements across educational systems through the strategic use of problem solving, innovative practice, and assessment. The Global Executive EdD program is an executive format doctoral program designed for full-time working leaders with a Master’s degree and significant leadership experience.

Designed for completion in 25 months, the program begins in early July. Participants will travel for 9 intensive 1-2 week class sessions: 5 in Los Angeles, 3 in Hong Kong, and 1 in a third selected international location. Between in-person sessions, extensive interaction will accomplished through a robust online Learning Management System.
