The spring 2013 IIENetworker magazine, titled "Higher Education and International Development" is now available as a free interactive web flipbook. The issue examines a wide range of international development strategies that colleges, universities, and other organizations have devised and implemented to foster economic and educational growth around the world.
This issue of IIENetworker explores new and creative models for international development that are being led by universities and other types of institutions, as well as innovative partnerships between higher education and funding organizations.
Nico Cloete from the Centre for Higher Education Transformation, Peter Maassen from the University of Oslo, and Teboho Moja from New York University examine the interactions between higher education and international development aid, based on the findings of a long-term research project of the Higher Education Research and Advocacy Network in Africa.
