The Global Teacher Prize is a US $1 million award presented annually to an exceptional teacher who has made an outstanding contribution to their profession. The application and nomination period opens today and closes on 14th October 2016. The winner will be announced at the Global Education and Skills Forum in Dubai next March following the selection and celebration of the top 50 finalists and, following that, the top 10 teachers!
