AFS Project: Change is an educational contest that prompts 8th-12th graders to analyze and address global issues through volunteerism. By participating in this service learning project, students realize their potential to create global change, and build important 21st century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, empathy and intercultural communication.

Project: Change is designed to not only provide unique opportunities for students, but also to help educators foster global competency. Students can participate in Project: Change independently or as part of a class exercise facilitated by a free, in-depth lesson plan provided by AFS-USA.
