Tidewater Transportation and Terminals opened a new onsite ethanol unloading and storage facility in its terminal in Pasco, WA, August 27, as part of the company’s ongoing effort to build and grow its services and storage capacities along the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
The facility includes an ethanol unit train railcar unloading rack with 24 new unloading stations and associated rail spurs. The company also built two 65,000-barrel steel tanks to provide reliable operating storage when an ethanol unit train arrives. Each tank has a floating roof which results in a networking capacity of 54,000 barrels.
