Attorneys General Seek to Include PFAS Provisions in Defense Bill

Attorneys general from 20 states and territories want congressional leaders to include per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, provisions in the fiscal 2021 National Defense Authorization Act.
The October 5 letter encouraged leaders of the House and Senate Armed Services committees to adopt measures related to PFAS. ILTA continues to monitor emerging federal and state policies to ban the use of PFAS.
