Sulphur Institute to Publish White Paper on Sulphuric Acid Storage

The Sulphur Institute has recently drafted a white paper on the operation and maintenance of sulphuric acid storage tanks. As they prepare to finalize the paper, they are looking for a “peer review” to see if there are any omissions that need to be addressed. The paper focuses on leading practices for cleaning, repurposing, maintaining, and operating sulphuric acid storage tanks at a high level. It is not intended to be a substitute for company procedures, rather address salient points where tank owners/operators can focus their tank stewardship program.
