According to new research from Alert Logic, 66% of small-to-midsize businesses are running antiquated operating systems. Common culprits include expired Microsoft OS versions, or versions that are set to expire within the next six months. In fact, the majority of devices that Alert Logic scanned for the purposes of this study were more than a decade old.
