With more than 40 years of experience in the explosives
industry, Dr. Catherine Aimone-Martin has some stories
to tell. From earning the first mining engineering degree
in the free world (by a woman), to earning acceptance &
respect in the explosives industry, and some of the
challenges that were overcome along the way. Cathy will
not only talk about her own personal journey but that of
ISEE, the industry and the blaster in the field.
