The Foundation's Programs
> Scholarship Program: provides funds to academically-qualified students pursuing an aviation-related degree at an accredited university.
- $335,000 was awarded to 46 students in 2015
> Internship Program: offers opportunities for students seeking careers in aviation to develop real-world experience with ISTAT member companies.
- 9 interns were placed in 2015 with ISTAT member companies
> ISTAT U: offers students the opportunity to participate in an ISTAT University Certificate Program focusing on Aviation Finance.
- 10 inaugural certificates were completed in 2015
> Grants Program: provides funds to educational institutions, museums and other nonprofit organizations that need support to stimulate commercial aviation interest at various academic levels.
- $75,000 was funded to 19 non-profit organizations in 2015
> Humanitarian Aid Program: showcases how the aviation community can join together to aid those in need, helping to save lives, promote human welfare and alleviate suffering.
- $125,000 was donated to 8 international humanitarian efforts in 2015

Funding for programs is provided by annual grants from ISTAT and contributions from individuals and companies within the ISTAT membership. Your contributions to the ISTAT Foundation help further our mission to support qualified individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism. Get Involved Now: Participate in the Foundation's Internship Program
All ISTAT member companies interested in becoming involved in the ISTAT Internship Program may submit an internship opportunity through the ISTAT internship portal. Positions are now being requested for the 2016 program taking place this summer. We invite you to post your open positions on the portal as soon as possible to ensure interest from the best candidates. The Foundation will reimburse qualified costs for summer living and travel expenses, up to $2,500 USD. Learn more here.
