Foundation Happenings
This year, the ISTAT Foundation awarded $115,000 to 12 nonprofit organizations worldwide that promote the advancement of commercial aviation. Click here to view the 2018 recipients.

The application for the 2018 ISTAT U 2.0 program (online version) is available to qualified, current students at universities around the world. ISTAT U is a specially designed one-year (six credit hour or global equivalent) aviation finance and leasing program. Admission requirements and application instructions are available at www.istat.org/istatu. The deadline for students to apply for enrollment is Friday, 31 August 2018.

The Foundation provides humanitarian grants to charities globally that are designed to help save lives, promote human welfare and alleviate suffering by way of air transportation. ISTAT Appraisers' Program
The EFW Airbus Freighter Conversion Tour will be held on Sunday, 23 September and will count towards the ISTAT Appraisers’ Program (IAP) continuing education requirement. The event kicks off at 8:30 at the Prague Hilton and returns at 14:45. Transportation and meals will be provided. Please contact Helen Frech at helen.frech@efw.aero by 7 September to RSVP.

As part of ISTAT EMEA, the ISTAT Appraisers' Program will again offer the pre-conference ISTAT Appraising – An Introduction program (formerly Appraising 101) for those interested in the practice of appraising or who would just like to know more about appraisals and what they mean. Plan to attend this event Sunday, 23 September from 15:30 – 17:00 in Rokoska – Mezzanine Level at the Hilton Prague.
This complimentary session features an inside look at the ISTAT Appraisers' Program, aircraft appraisal fundamentals and steps to becoming an appraiser.
