Meet two more new staff members!

We're pleased to introduce two new individuals who have recently joined the NACAS National Office team!

Sneha Pokharel, ACCA, joins NACAS as an accountant. Pokharel is a certified accountant from Nepal with more than three years of public accounting experience. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Nepal and is currently pursuing an MBA with a specialization in accounting from Maharishi University of Management, Iowa. She is currently a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. During her time as an MBA student, Pokharel worked with Optimae Life services, Iowa as an accounting intern. Pokharel is excited about joining NACAS and the ability to grow through continuous professional development at NACAS.

Jackie Richards joins NACAS as the exhibit coordinator. Richards is a native of the Bronx, N.Y., and currently resides in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. Richards graduated high school from the Halstead School in Yonkers, N.Y. She also attended, UC Irvine and Fordham University to pursue her interest in business administration. Richards has always been involved in the financial services world and worked for many years for several New York City Wall Street firms before becoming a partner in M.R. TAX Services, which has been in operation since 1988. Richards holds several certifications in real estate, financial management, and tax services. In 2005, Richards established M.R. Financial Services and provides consulting services for small businesses and corporations. She currently sits on the board of directors for the Rotary Club of Mount Vernon and serves as its treasurer. She is also on the board of directors of a nonprofit organization, Esther’s Aid for Needy and Abandoned Children, and serves as the volunteer treasurer. In her spare time, she volunteers for the Mount Vernon Soup Kitchen. Richards has a passion for working to deliver the best support services for her business partners and has enjoyed her recent work with NACAS business partners.
