LTM Recap
Last week, NACAS leadership and staff gathered in Las Vegas, Nevada to discuss the rebranding process and goals for the future of the Association at the Leadership Team Meeting. Mekanic President and Chief Brand Officer Erik Hansen presented the brand findings to the group, and revealed two options for a new logo. The group voted and chose the winning logo, which will be released in June along with the new website.
It is important to view the NACAS brand evolution initiative as a long-term, multi-component effort. It must be developed, nurtured and continually adapted to meet the needs of the organization, the market and the members. Driven by the ever-present desire to grow membership and the approach of the 50th anniversary of NACAS, this branding initiative presents an exciting opportunity for the brand to be revitalized and repositioned to communicate vision, modernized value and a stronger point of view. In addition, the NACAS leadership also spent time with Jean Frankel, Ideas for Action. Jean helped facilitate a discussion around both the higher ed and auxiliary service future environment as well as led the group in refining the Association's strategic direction: identity, direction, goals, and strategy. We look forward to sharing the new brand, website, and logo with our members in the months to come!
