It’s time to rewrite the higher ed narrative. For years, the higher education story has focused on the negative. Rising costs, enrollment challenges, and public scrutiny has left people questioning the value of a degree. Let’s reclaim the narrative and fuel public trust in our institutions.
As auxiliary services adapt in times of uncertainty, let’s let them shine as pillars of student development and success: The ultimate achievement of higher education. Be a visionary on your campus that brings forward ideas for alternative revenue streams and ways to combat enrollment challenges. Gain confidence in your decision-making that will lead to positive change on your campus for years to come.

Making the Connection
NACAS News
The NACAS Foundation is pleased to announce that on November 11 at the C3X 2020 Virtual Conference & Expo, four institutions were selected to receive funds totaling $22,850 through the Campus Care Grant.
“We know that one in three college students faces food insecurity, an issue that is only heightened by the coronavirus pandemic. We also know from our research that students rank access to basic needs as the number two barrier to their success,” said Kelsey Harmon Finn, NACAS CEO. “The Campus Care Grant expands the level of support campuses can provide to students through service delivery, bridging the gaps between what students have and what they need to thrive.”
NACAS Foundation
The NACAS Foundation participated in the annual #GivingTuesday this year on December 1. By engaging with our members and business partners on social media and through email, we were able to raise almost $1,000.
This year, we focused heavily on access to students basic needs and The Campus Care Grant.
Did you know that 1 in 3 college students experiences food insecurity? This issue is of heightened importance as the world battles a deadly virus and students are unable to work the campus jobs they once relied on to pay bills. That's where the Campus Care Grant comes in to help. The grant was developed by the NACAS Foundation to expand the level of support campuses can provide to students through service delivery.
There is still time to donate if you haven't done so already. Pay it forward to pave the way for student success!
