In Partnership with Slingshot
As course material delivery models change, the traditional bookstore is transitioning to a campus store. This gives your institution the opportunity to ensure your store is in the center of the campus ecosystem. Throughout the Workshop, you will have an opportunity to learn from thought leaders, break into smaller groups to discuss how topics align to a self-operated versus leased store model, and brainstorm ways to address the trends happening within campus stores. Current Events
On your campus, you and your colleagues work hard to break new ground, implement innovation, and achieve success. This dedicated work has been needed now more than ever as we continue to grow and evolve our services to meet the varying needs of students during the coronavirus pandemic. It is time to honor these achievements by nominating yourself or someone you know for a NACAS award!
Deadline: July 1, 2021
Making the Connection
The Ladson Diversity Scholarship was established in 2005 in honor of the late Mereese Ladson, Controller at Brooklyn College (CUNY). Ms. Ladson was a President and long-time leader of NACAS East and a great friend to the entire association. Ms. Ladson’s professionalism, commitment to inclusiveness for all, and leadership were sources of inspiration to our members. This scholarship program is intended to further her work to promote the advancement of diverse, career-minded higher education professionals and to enhance their auxiliary services skill and knowledge base through NACAS professional development programs.

NACAS Foundation
As societal and economic changes bring new stresses to students’ lives, campus service leaders rally and respond by problem-solving for barriers like residence and meal plan affordability, lack of transportation options, complexities in navigating on-campus resources, and much more. From food pantries to co-op living programs to peer-to-peer counseling and everything in between, the Campus Care Grant provides financial backing to programs that bridge the gaps between what students have and what they need to thrive.
In response to the continued global pandemic, the NACAS Foundation is encouraging more submissions that fall between the $2,000 – $5,000 range, anticipating that many institutions will have new funding needs associated with COVID-19 and student wellness.
