Current Events
A small group of our Institutional Members and Business Partners are meeting in Palm Springs, CA, to discuss some of the most pressing concerns in higher ed:
• Reimagining the future of the workforce
• Student employee program assessment standards
• Re-evaluating emergency plans (prevention, response, mitigation)
• Driving alternative revenue
We look forward to tackling these issues together, discussing what has worked for our members, and harnessing that insight to help educate our membership moving forward.

NACAS News
Join folks from the Professional Development Committee for an informal chat about what's currently top of mind for auxiliary professionals. We will use this time to talk about what is buzzing in the NACAS Lounge (a COVID-19 contract clause!), but ask you to bring any and all topics to the table: Labor shortage issues? Questions about the future of parking and mobility on campus? Want to brag about your new idea for a hybrid Commencement? Come tell us! No question or idea is too big or too small to share.
Coffee Chats will be scheduled monthly so we can continue regular discussions throughout the year. NACAS Foundation

Certification
Succession planning: It's a term you've heard a lot in the past two years.
NACAS created CASP so universities can responsibly prepare for leadership transition, benefit from operational efficiencies, and stay current in auxiliary-related practices that must adapt to emerging technologies and trends. By placing the right leaders into executive auxiliary roles who have been validated by a rigorous and reputable certification program, valuable collaboration increases on campus and higher education institutions experience eased staffing transitions, quicker decision making in cross-departmental meetings, and less conflict when various service functions integrate. |
