Life is a Gift...

As one year ends, another begins. Everything is a cycle. Everything has a start and an end. The start brings excitement, anticipation and new hope. An end brings a sense of fulfillment, lessons learned, moving on to the next big thing. It’s during the start and the end that I reflect, regroup and recharge. But, what happens in between – the journey – is what excites me the most every time!

My involvement with The KCMPI Times as Editor and Co-Chair, comes to an end with this issue, my 15th for the second time around with The KCMPI Times. But I am excited to announce that Caprice Caster, Director of Events and Promotions for Automotive Parts Associates and my Co-Chair for the past several months, will be taking over as your Editor. Caprice will bring fresh ideas and new blood to our newsletter.

Working with The KCMPI Times Newsletter has made it possible for me to get to know and collaborate with a large number of professionals in the KCMPI Community. I feel fortunate that my path has crossed so many others, which only enriched my life, and hopefully I enriched theirs in some way.

As the year winds down, I encourage you to consider your KCMPI involvement as this is one organization where you truly get back what you put in. Life is a gift, share your talents.
