Do What You Love, Love What You Do!

I believe in doing what you love and loving what you do.

Last month, that belief was reinforced in me tenfold when I had the opportunity to hear Mark Kelly and Gabby Giffords speak at a Collinson Media event, Collaborate Hawaii.

I went into the session with the mindset that they were an astronaut and a politician with a tragic event that changed their lives forever. But I left feeling happy and inspired and knowing that no matter what I do in life from this point forward, I was going to do it with a renewed passion. It's fantastic when a meeting has that kind of effect on attendees!

My hope is that my love for design and writing comes through in my new role as your KCMPI Times editor.

A new feature, starting with this issue, will be an article written by a professional speaker. The goal is to provide useful content that will inspire and educate and, in turn, give professional speakers an avenue for exposure.
