April showers, bring May flowers, but what do May flowers bring? The answer to this childhood joke is Pilgrims, of course!

In all seriousness though, I was thinking about how one event sets things up for another event, and so on.  

In this industry, one event we plan – say a strategic planning meeting – may lead to a new committee being formed, followed by the new committee developing a trade show and then we have a whole new event to plan. You never know when one small thing can become a bigger event or piece of business. How do you look at the process of what you plan or sell?  

Take this season of renewal and think about how you see your work. Is there an event happening now that could present itself as a new opportunity for you? Take a look at this newsletter, maybe there's a person, place or event that could evolve into something more? You never know until you take a moment to look around and think!
