Building Strategic and Experiential Sponsorships

Before beginning the meeting redesign process, it is critical to understand the needs and priorities of your audience. Many of us make changes to our meetings each year, but are we doing our due diligence to ensure we're making changes our attendees want? The decision to make changes has to be thoughtful and based upon a solid understanding rather than a perception of their needs.

Wendy Holliday
Vice President, Velvet Chainsaw Consulting

Wendy joined VCC in 2013 as Vice President of Attendee Acquisition and Experience. A seasoned association professional, Wendy has more than 20 years in events bringing a strategic approach to membership marketing and increasing attendee acquisition. Previously, Wendy served as the VP, Marketing and Member Services for the National Association of College Stores where she drove the marketing and sponsorship plans for CAMEX. Prior to joining NACS, she was responsible for Special Projects and Strategic Partnerships for Certified Angus Beef, including CAB sponsorship activities at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
