Eddie Gomez
At Large Director - Long Term Care
Eddie Gomez started his career in Building Services during his college years between 2003-2007. From there he moved into Plant Operations in healthcare with a focus on regulatory compliance and serving other support services departments (Environmental Services, Food Services and Information Technology). Over the years Eddie gained more knowledge and experience in Construction and Facilities Management which led him to seek this field for growth in management and leadership. After gaining this experience, he decided that he wanted to focus his time on coaching and developing leaders for the industry.
After witnessing the challenges the industry faced from the beginning of his career and through the pandemic, Eddie realized there is a major need to grow the industry and develop leaders. This has become his passion, and he focuses on coaching and development in his current role by growing technicians into managers and leaders of the future of Facilities Management. He has led many teams in acute and post acute care.
Eddie is a proud father of two children: Kaleb, ten years old and Emilia, six years old. Eddie is happy to say he has some talented kids, but must highlight his youngest, as she was the gymnastics state champion in her age range for 2022. He has been married to his lovely bride Brittney for 15 years. Eddie is an avid camper, Disney fan, and enjoys going on cruises. In his free time, if not camping, he is watching soccer or college sports or the St Louis Cardinals.
