Recipients receive $500 per semester for up to 8 continuous semesters. When considering the selection of the recipient of the KSHE Scholarship, priority will be given to relatives of KSHE Members. Secondary consideration will be given to relatives of healthcare employees. Third in the selection process will be any eligible student. Click the button below for more information and to submit your application. Please email info@kshe.org with questions. Application deadline is Monday, April 15, 2019. Safe Day One is recommended by ASHE as the best online education preparation for the new Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker credential. The orientation of technicians, outside vendors and contractors in healthcare is not only a safety issue, it is required for accreditation with organizations such as The Joint Commission. Safe Day One is an online healthcare facilities orientation & safety training. It’s not enough to be safe one day; we must be safe day one.
