I want to start off this monthly newsletter with some words of encouragement. Most of you reading this are highly skilled, extremely talented, dedicated facility leaders and care givers. You put aside the stresses you live with at home and come to work every day to fight the battles that assure that our patients and staff have a safe, healthy environment in which to heal and perform healing. Due to the far-reaching impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had in our communities, the KSHE Board of Directors has made the decision to transition the in person 2020 Healthcare Coalition Conference (HCC) to a virtual live conference experience.

The Board has been hard at work developing plans for our future, and I would like to extend my gratitude to them for the leadership provided during these unprecedented times.
