Summer is definitely here! There have been numerous heat advisories in the Commonwealth as the Heat Index pushed well into the triple digits during the past several days. Not necessarily bad weather if you are on vacation, near water or air-conditioning. But if you’re not, and you are responsible for facility cooling systems, it can be a nerve racking time of the year. The one advantage you do have is belonging to the KSHE Team of Hospital Engineers who are all willing to assist each other and share their wealth of knowledge. Though some of our hospitals may compete with one another, we are part of a statewide group who have common goals and challenges. There are no lines between us.
