If you’re replacing the locksets in your home in 2011, break away from tradition with new contemporary and modern lockset designs from Weiser. Clean lines, smooth polished surfaces and just the right amount of enhancing detail are defining the new look for home security.
"Since trends and personal tastes are always changing more people are choosing designs that are dynamic and will work with a range of home fashion styles," said Mark Wallace, Stanley Black & Decker Hardware and Home Improvement Group. "Recently we have seen a mix of textures, colours and lines in contemporary home design that incorporate many styles and we have worked to include all of these trends in the new lockset designs."
In a recent brand study, Weiser found that 50 percent of participants favoured a transitional style for their home décor, demonstrating a growing trend toward incorporating both traditional and contemporary styles.
Weiser derives its designs from trends in the architecture and fashion world, but does so without compromising function. The revolutionary SmartKeyTM technology is standard on all Weiser products, ensuring that one’s design choice is equipped with the best residential security on the market.
Weiser has introduced three new levers - Brizzia, Katara and Vedani - with the option of either a round or a square rosette on the Vedani; two new deadbolts - round and square; and a new handleset – Tavaris (pictured).
