Nominations at Maibec Inc.
 Continuing its commitment to increase leadership and marketing efforts, Maibec Inc. is pleased to announce the following changes within its sales department, effective January 30, 2012:Philippe Caissy, current Sales Manager, Exterior Siding, now adds the responsibility of Sales Manager for the Lumber Sector. He will oversee the work of Neill Gibson, Head of Business Development, Specialty Products and Jacques Bussières, Sales Representative, Timber for the Canadian and U.S. markets. This change will create synergies within the company's various business sectors. Also, Derek Pike, current Sales Representative for Quebec, has been promoted to the position of Territory Leader, Canada. He will oversee the work of external sales representatives for Canada. These changes will ensure an optimal level of service for sidings customers, while allowing further development in the lumber sector, specifically in specialty products. Maibec Inc. is a privately held Québec company and the largest producer of white cedar shingles in North America, Inc. It is also a Canadian leader in the production of genuine wood siding and the largest bagger of cedar mulch in North America. The company also operates a softwood lumber sawmill. Its head office is located in Saint-Romuald, Quebec and its production units are located primarily in Saint-Pamphile, Islet and St. Theophilus in the Beauce region. |
