TruServ Canada Welcomes New LBM Specialist to the Team
 Michael Samson, Lumber & Building Materials Specialist, joined the TruServ Canada team in mid February. His role with the Company is to provide support to independent retailers, specifically for those who are flying the new TRU Building Centre banner.Michael brings with him over 25 years of experience in the LBM industry. He worked previously with  Alexandria Moulding, Beaver Lumber, Velux Skylights, Reno Depot and most recently with RONA Inc. as a Commodities Merchandiser. Michael will report to Terry Derraugh, Vice President of Merchandising.TruServ Canada announced the new TRU banners at their 2011 Spring Market. The announcement included the move to the TRU Hardware banner, which rolled out last summer. The launch of the TRU Building Centre was made in October 2011, with the first of the bannered store in Glenboro, Manitoba. TruServ Canada serves over 725 independent retailers and has some of Canada’s most efficient warehousing, product buying and distribution systems.
