Castle Vendor Appreciation Golf Tournament

On Monday September 8th, 2014, The Club at North Halton played host to the 2014 Castle Building Centres Group Vendor Appreciation Golf Tournament. The tourney was held on the rolling greens of this private golf course in the lovely city of Georgetown, ON.
For the past five years, Castle’s annual charity function benefiting the SickKids Foundation was an unbelievable success. This year’s event raised a record $25,000 in charitable donations thanks to the generosity of Castle Valued Vendor Partners.
SickKids is a health-care community dedicated to improving the health of children by providing the best in family-centred, compassionate care, to lead in scientific and clinical advancement, and to prepare the next generation of leaders in child health.

A national selection of Castle supplier representatives from across Canada enjoyed a fun-filled day of golf with some exciting charity challenges along the way. Over 140 vendor participants attended the event and had the opportunity to donate to a worthy cause while enjoying a perfect day on the picturesque course and the company of their peers.

James Jones, Vice President, National Marketing, who played in the tournament and emceed the evening event, commented, "This kind of sincere camaraderie between vendors and their customers can only exist though mutual respect and long term win-win partnerships."
