Walter J. Hachborn to be inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame

Hachborn, Co-Founder of Home Hardware Stores Limited will be inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame on May 4, 2015 at a ceremony in Toronto. Established in 1979, the Canadian Business Hall of Fame celebrates the exceptional achievements of Canada's most distinguished business leaders both past and present. Over the course of his almost 80 year career, Mr. Hachborn’s leadership and entrepreneurialism have had tremendous impact on the national hardware industry and the survival of the independent home improvement retailer in Canada.
