Home Hardware Announces Changes to Management Team

St. Jacobs, ON, DECEMBER 17, 2014 – Home Hardware Stores Limited announced the retirement of Eric Konecsni, V-P Operations. Eric will retire at the end of this year after 46 years of service. Home Hardware Stores Limited is pleased to announce that Dunc Wilson has been appointed Acting Vice-President, Operations effective immediately.
"We thank Eric for his dedication and support over the years and wish him the best in his well-deserved retirement," said Terry Davis, CEO, Home Hardware Stores Limited. "Dunc has proven leadership at Home Hardware as the Director, National Dealer Development and we look forward to him providing direction to the Operations Department at this time."
Home Hardware Stores Limited also announced that Dale MacPherson has accepted the Senior Director, National Retail Operations position, effective immediately, and will be responsible for all Retail Operations and Dealer Development functions across Canada in addition to his existing responsibilities.
"Dale brings many years of experience in the Operations group to his new appointment and we look forward to his ongoing contributions and leadership," said Davis.
Also announced this week within the Operations group, Sherri Amos has accepted the position of Director, Dealer Support effective January 5, 2015. Sherri replaces Bill Ferguson who has retired from the position, but remains with the company.
"Sherri has been a valuable member of the Home team as the Retail Education & Communication Assistant Manager," said Davis. "She brings a depth of knowledge, experience and leadership capabilities to her new role. We thank Bill for his invaluable contributions to the success of our Dealers as the Director, Dealer Support."
